Is your dog suffering skin problems or allergies. Are they suffering from any of the following :-
Chewing of feet - Rubbing the face on the carpet - Scratching the body
Recurring ear infections - Hair Loss - Mutilated skin - Smelly Skin the list goes gone!
Chances are your dog has and allergy - Our dog did and it took us 3 years to control his skin problems.
So what are dogs allergic? Your dog could be allergic to dozens of different things in the room you are sitting in. That even include microscopic substances in the air you and your dog breath! Food, carpeting, blankets, dust mites, mold spores in the air, pollen, plastic food dishes, furniture stuffing and ornamental plants all have the potential to trigger an allergic reaction in your dog. Food allergies are so common that pet food manufacturers have invested millions of dollars in research, development, promotion and delivery of “antigen specific” diets to help in the therapy of dogs with food allergies.
The experts tells us that a dog that is allergic to something will show it through skin problems and itching. In addition, allergic dogs will often chew on their feet until they are irritated and red (the feet are the only place dogs have sweat glands and these become inflamed with allergies),
and scratching. They may rub their faces on the carpet or couch, or scratch their sides and
belly. Sometimes there is hair loss, which can be patchy or inconsistent over the body leaving a mottled appearance.
Our dog kept on chewing at his legs or backside losing hair and then sores would appear. You could wash him in the morning and by the afternoon he would be just as smelly. He got an ear infections and that too was smelly. We would visit vets and they didn't seem to have an answer so it was then we set out to find a treatment that would help our dog skin problem
It has now been 12 months and so far he is enjoying his good health, just 3 days ago we had the house sprayed for pests and we are now waiting to see if it affects his skin.
One tip we discovered was a treatment to get rid of doggy odour:-
TREATMENT FOR A SMELLY DOG
Smelly dog – Nothing is worse than having your lovely house pet being smelly?! Even though I have been able to heal my dog of his skin problems he still gets that doggy smelly after a few days (Check out “CURE Dog's Skin Problems & Allergies” ) When that happens out comes the baking soda (baking powder). Yes that’s right baking soda! No I am not going to starting making a cake in the hope that the smell of the cake cooking will over power the dog smell.
So now with Baking Soda you can use it for your pet as well as making a cake!! Dogs Skin Problems certainly opens up a treasure trove of learning.
Update: - Good news the pest treatment has had no ill affects on our dog. Great he is looking good and smelling great.
